Overview

The Philadelphia office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an associate with a minimum of 3 years of defense litigation experience to join our Labor & Employment and Professional Liability practice groups. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Independently manage a litigation caseload by working cases from inception through resolution. Handle extensive discovery practice, court appearances and depositions. Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of employment litigation, professional liability and/or commercial litigation experience.
  • JD from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Admitted in PA and NJ.
  • Federal, state court and administrative agency experience.
  • Experience in developing strategy and taking/defending depositions is a plus.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong writing, research, and communications skills.
  • Must be organized and have the ability to work independently.
