Overview

The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA accredited Law School.
  • Admitted to NY Bar and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of employment litigation experience including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour and employment contract cases.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment statutes.
  • Experience developing strategy, drafting pleadings, taking/defending depositions, arguing motions and the capability of working independently.
  • Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies is also beneficial.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent oral and written communication skills.

The total annual compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $125 ,000.  Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to base salary, Kaufman Dolowich offers an annual discretionary bonus, performance-based bonus, unlimited PTO, professional and client development and a full comprehensive benefits package.
