Overview

The Los Angeles and Torrance offices of Kaufman Dolowich, recognized by U.S. news in their list of “Best Companies to Work For - Law Firms”, is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney with 5+ years of coverage experience (advice and litigation) in general liability and professional lines insurance space is preferred but open to any area of insurance coverage. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the CA Bar. 
  • Extensive experience interpreting insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions and litigating coverage matters preferably in connection with general liability, professional liability (E&O), directors & officers, employment practices liability, and cyber insurance policies.
  • Superior academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication.

Target Hiring Range: $140,000 - $180,000.

Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate’s experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. Base salary represents just one component of the comprehensive Total Rewards package offered by Kaufman Dolowich, which also includes a discretionary and billable hours-based bonus program and a robust benefits offering for full-time employees.
