Overview

Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an Employment Defense Litigation Associate with a minimum of 4 years of experience on either the defense or plaintiff's side for its San Francisco office. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Employment litigation experience including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour and employment contract cases.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment statutes.
  • Experience developing strategy, drafting pleadings, taking/defending depositions, arguing motions, and the capability of working independently is preferred.
  • Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies is also beneficial.

NOTE: WFH/Hybrid Work Option.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA accredited Law School.
  • Law Review and/or Moot Court experience is preferred.
  • Admitted to the CA bar.
  • Must possess strong academic credentials.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

The total annual compensation range for this position is $130,000 - $175,000.  Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

In addition to base salary, Kaufman Dolowich offers an annual discretionary bonus, performance-based bonus, unlimited PTO, professional and client development and a full comprehensive benefits package.
