Professional Liability Attorney

The Los Angeles and Torrance offices of Kaufman Dolowich LLP, a nationally recognized law firm named by U.S. News as one of the “Best Companies to Work For – Law Firms,” are seeking an experienced Professional Liability Attorney with a minimum of four years of experience in business litigation.

This position offers the opportunity to join a fast-growing national firm of over 200 attorneys, while working closely with a highly collaborative team, focused on delivering top-tier legal representation, and fostering a strong culture of teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Communicating directly with clients and providing regular case updates
• Taking and defending depositions
• Participating in motion practice and trials
• Handling a diverse range of professional liability matters, including claims involving attorneys, accountants, insurance professionals, and real estate agents

• JD degree with excellent academic credentials
• Admittance to practice in California
• 4+ years of experience in business litigation
• Experience in legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, and/or other professional liability matters is highly preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Base salary range: $150,000 - $200,000. Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific offer. Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate’s experience, skills, and job-related qualifications.
