Overview

The Philadelphia office of Kaufman Dolowich,  an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World, is seeking an associate with a minimum of 3 years of employment litigation experience on either the plaintiff or defense side. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide. 

 

The ideal candidate should have experience developing strategy, drafting pleadings, taking/defending depositions, arguing motions and the capability of working independently.

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA accredited Law School with strong academic credentials and on Law Review or Moot Court.
  • Admission to practice law in PA and NJ.
  • 3+ years of employment litigation experience including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour and employment contract cases.
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment statutes.
  • Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies is also beneficial.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
