Overview

The Torrance, CA office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an Attorney with a minimum of 7-12 years of experience to join our expanding corporate and transactional practice.  The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide. 

 

Candidates must have general corporate and transactional experience in a law firm setting, including experience with mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, joint ventures, and drafting and negotiating transaction documents. Real estate experience a plus. Candidates must be self-starters and capable of interfacing directly with clients, performing due diligence investigations and handling other requirements through closing.  

**KD supports a flexible work life balance including options for reduced billable hourly requirement. We are flexible about location and will consider applicants who work hybrid or remote.

The total annual compensation range for this position is $175,000-235,000.  Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from a top ABA accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the CA Bar. 
  • Extensive experience with commercial, corporate and/or real estate transactions.
  • Superior academic credentials and excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
