Of Counsel Insurance Coverage Attorney

The Chicago office of Kaufman Dolowich, recognized by U.S. news in their list of “Best Companies to Work For - Law Firms”, is seeking a senior insurance coverage attorney with 7 or more years of experience. The candidate will be joining a fast-growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys across the country.

Experience in the areas of D&O, professional liability, cyber, financial institutions and/or fidelity and crime for its growing practice is preferred but not required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze insurance policies to identify coverage issues.
• Draft coverage opinions, reservations, and disclaimers.
• Handle insurance coverage litigation.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Insurance coverage experience.
• Superior academic credentials from a top tier accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the Illinois bar.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Target Hiring Range: $165,000 - $225,000.
