Overview

The Dallas office of Kaufman Dolowich, recognized by U.S. news in their list of “Best Companies to Work For - Law Firms” , is seeking a Litigation Associate with a minimum of 5 years of experience practicing employment law. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.

 

KD’s Labor and Employment practice includes employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wage and hour defense, as well as traditional employment law matters.

 

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage all phases of complex litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, and handle oral arguments in state and federal courts.
  • Lead cases from inception through resolution, ensuring effective case development, risk assessment, and client communication throughout.

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA approved Law School.
  • Admittance in Texas.
  • A minimum of 5 years of employment or general liability litigation experience.
  • Outstanding research, writing and oral advocacy skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills .
