The Long Island office of Kaufman Dolowich, recognized by U.S. news in their list of “Best Companies to Work For - Law Firms”, is seeking an associate attorney with a minimum of 1 year experience in general liability insurance defense litigation including premises, NY Labor Law, and/or vertical transportation. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.
This is a unique opportunity for a motivated attorney seeking to grow with an expanding practice. The successful candidate will be expected to handle all aspects of a case including conducting discovery, corresponding with clients and counsel, depositions, motion practice, oral argument, court conferences, mediations/settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters.
Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from inception through resolution.
Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
Communicate with clients and provide status reports.

Target Hiring Range: $105,000 - $120,000.
