Overview

The White Plains, NY office of Kaufman Dolowich, a nationally recognized by U.S. News in their list of, “Best Companies to Work For – Law Firms”, is seeking a talented Employment Litigation Attorney to join our growing practice. This full-time, in-person role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact matters within a collaborative and experienced team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage all phases of complex litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, and handle oral arguments in state and federal courts.
  • Lead cases from inception through resolution, ensuring effective case development, risk assessment, and client communication throughout

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in employment law litigation.

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and administrative employment law procedures.

  • Experience advising employers on workplace legal compliance.

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Admitted and in good standing with the New York State Bar.

  • Able to work independently while also collaborating within a team-oriented environment.

Target Hiring Range: $120,000 - $165,000.

Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate’s experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. Base salary represents just one component of the comprehensive Total Rewards package offered by Kaufman Dolowich, which also includes a discretionary and billable hours-based bonus program and a robust benefits offering for full-time employees.
