The Hackensack, New Jersey office of Kaufman Dolowich, recognized by U.S. news in their list of "Best Companies to Work For - Law Firms", is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with a minimum of 4 years of experience handling commercial and business litigation matters. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and participate in all aspects of written discovery, ensuring accuracy, strategic alignment, and timely completion.

  • Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses in complex insurance litigation matters.

  • Conduct motion practice and present oral arguments, while maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients through consistent communication and case updates.

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA approved Law School
  • Must be admitted to the NJ bar
  • 4+ years of commercial litigation experience
  • Outstanding research, writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills
