Billing Clerk

Our nationwide firm, Kaufman Dolowich, LLP, recognized by U.S News in their list of “Best Companies to Work For – Law Firms”, is seeking a Billing Clerk in our Woodbury, Long Island office to join our growing team.

This position would be hybrid for the firm's Woodbury, Long Island office with a minimum of 2-3 days a week in the office. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process client invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with attorneys, assistants, and the finance team to ensure billing compliance and client satisfaction.
• Manage billing adjustments, time entries, and resolve billing-related inquiries.
• Maintain and update billing records within our systems.
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and special billing arrangements.
• Generate and distribute monthly billing reports and assist with financial tracking.
• Other duties as assigned to improve the overall effectiveness of the department.

• Law firm experience is a plus but not required.
• 3–5 years of billing, accounts receivable, or accounting experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail, as well as written and oral communication skills.

Target Hiring Range: $60,000 - $65,000
