The Woodbury, Long Island office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is actively seeking an attorney to join our growing Insurance Coverage practice group.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced practitioners in a collaborative environment. Our attorneys receive meaningful hands-on experience, direct client interaction, and strong mentorship.

 

Responsibilities

  • Litigate insurance coverage cases as part of team, including conducting court appearances, depositions, and motion practice
  • Draft legal opinions, reservations of rights and disclaimers
  • Communicate directly with clients, providing proactive timely updates, legal insights, and strategic guidance throughout the case lifecycle

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of litigation and/or insurance coverage experience
  • JD degree with excellent academic credentials
  • Admission to the New York State Bar
  • Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Base Salary Range: $110,000-$150,000

Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific offer. Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate’s experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. Base salary represents just one component of the comprehensive Total Rewards package offered by Kaufman Dolowich, which also includes a discretionary and billable hours-based bonus program and a robust benefits offering for full-time employees.
