The San Francisco, CA office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is actively seeking an attorney to join our growing litigation team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Labor & Employment, Professional Liability, and/or Commercial Litigation and will thrive in a collaborative environment that offers meaningful responsibility, hands-on litigation experience, and long-term career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Draft and respond to written discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare motions, briefs, and other substantive pleadings
- Participate in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and oral arguments
- Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic case updates
- Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on complex matters
- Assist with all aspects of litigation strategy and case management
Qualifications
- Admission to practice in California required
- Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience
- Experience in Labor & Employment, Professional Liability, and/or Commercial Litigation preferred
- Experience handling legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, and other professional liability matters is highly preferred
- Excellent written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Strong organizational and case management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic litigation environment

Base Salary Range: $150,000-$200,000
